A larger memory card than the 16GB card provided would help alleviate the problem a bit but the fact is, protected files do actually get deleted.

You can choose whether you want video clips to be 2, 3 or 5 minutes long and you can lower the resolution if for some reason you don’t want to record at the highest 2560×1440 pixels. This ensures that a larger area of the road is covered, giving users a comprehensive view of their surroundings. It mounts easily with its suction pad and is small enough to fit just so - I can have it hidden from my view by the rear view mirror. If anything, the microphone seems a little quiet but it is certainly not ‘bad’ in any sense of the word.
